AL NAPNAP Summer CE Mini-Series Part 1—Pediatric Learning Disorders and Dyslexia

Learning disorders are common in children, with an estimated 5 to 15% of school-age children struggling with them. A significant portion of these, around 80%, experience dyslexia. Specifically, about 20% of the population is estimated to have dyslexia. Additionally, roughly 11% of children between 3 and 17 years old have been diagnosed with a learning disability. 

Join the Alabama Chapter of NAPNAP at Alabama Game Changers (AGC) to discover how medical and educational communities merge to assess, diagnose and treat children and young adults with learning disorders. We will tour the facility of AGC and have a demonstration of the Eysz Technology being used to help differentiate ADHD and Childhood Absence Epilepsy (CAE) with confidence. Then, Dr. Stephanie Denton will present an educational lecture on learning disorders and dyslexia followed by a Q&A session.
